Today, I spent some time with John O’Duinn, Carolyn Chin-Parry and Enrique Rubio recording the panel “How to Thrive as a Leader During Digital Transformation” as part of the track “Digital Transformation Leadership” at the Hacking HR 2022 Global Online Conference.

What a truly fun and fascinating conversation. We discussed what makes a great leader of digital transformation, the skills, and capabilities, then we moved on to thinking about HR can be that leader, the potential obstacles and derailleurs, and finally, we ended our conversation with the “one-step” to begin the journey of bringing all the vision presented to reality. We were aligned that people are the heart of progress; the enablers of Digital transformation!.

John has written code and led teams in organizations ranging from four-person startups to nonprofits to multinationals—including the US Government as part of the Obama White House, for the US Digital Service. I. look forward to reading John’s book “Distributed Teams: The Art and Practice of Working Together While Physically Apart”.
