How to Build Resilient and Thriving Teams

I am so passionate about #teams. Started from junior sports, enhanced through military service, and then continued at IBM and Kyndryl; delivering IT Transition &Transformation programs.

I am thrilled to be on the panel “How to Build hashtag#Resilient and hashtag#Thriving Teams”, moderated by: Amy Johnston, with:

πŸ‘‰Nazli E. Yenis, HR Business Partner at FreedomCare
πŸ‘‰Mazzy Cameron, Founding Director at Mazzylive
πŸ‘‰Burunda Prince, Chief Operating Officer at Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs ; and
πŸ‘‰James Comer, Head of HR, ANZ + People Partner for Sales Engineering, APJC at Cisco.

Teams come in all shapes and sizes, from sports teams to military units to families and beyond, and they’re all different in their own ways.

It can be challenging to get the right team members together.πŸ‘ Sadly, many organisations struggle with thisβ€¦πŸ•ΈοΈοΈPoor team resilience can lead to significant negative effects on company morale and performance.

#Resilientteams leave their mark and teams can thrive. How they transform businesses, create cultures, and have fun while doing it. They’re also full of amazing people. People who care about each other, about their work, and about helping each other out. People who aren’t afraid to take risks or try new things. People who value diversity. People who welcome challenges and work hard to meet those challenges. People who love their jobs. People who feel safe.

πŸ‘†Resilient teams are the secret to long-term success for companies such as IBM, Kyndryl, Google and Apple in the IT Industry. They’re also the key to the success of olympic teams, military units, emergency services and other high-stress environments.

When it comes to team resilience and leadership, I have been privileged to work some amazing leaders, mentors and team members: Roy Lovli, Charles Noble, Peter Grassi, Rita Gabrielle Falzon, Michael Carman, Gary Chen, Andrew Ouw, Russell Haynes, Wayne Gray, Anthony Miller, Cathy Heaney, Zoran Ojurovic, Paul Smeed, Adele Harris, Sheldon Dargaville, Julija Kristofic, Pradeep Saini, David Traviesas, Abhishek Sharma, Marites (Tes) Halili, Rob Carter, Chris Pleasants, Chris Cook, Christopher Kwok, Kurt Wilcox, Tony Huzjak, Tony Stein, Darin Hobbs, Lisa Kirby and many more!

πŸ–ŠI am curious, do you have any experiences with, or thoughts about team resilience?

πŸ”₯If you feel resilience is important, please to leave your thoughts in the comments; it would be appreciated more than you knowΒ πŸ”₯πŸ’― πŸ’― πŸ’― πŸ’― πŸ’― 😎 πŸ‘Š πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ πŸ™‹

Maybe you would like share a comment on times when a team:
πŸ‘ŠπŸ’―hashtag#overcomeobstacles hashtag#adversity;
πŸ‘ŠπŸ’―factors that helped the team be successful;
β›”πŸ› οΈfell apart when times got tough; or
β›”πŸ› οΈ members felt a lack of appreciation and being undervalued?

Enrique Thank you – I am looking forward to being a part of this phenomenal event!
